    Expedition: Handheld.

It’s a delightfully nerdy new handheld gaming podcast from The Full Nerd Network and Retro Game Corps… and I’m the first-ever guest! What’s that in my hand?? The episode airs Saturday at 9am PT (Update: you can watch it embedded below). I bring a future Today I’m Toying With item on the show, too!

Chuck Norris has died, but the memes will live forever.

In 2006, “The Best Damn Sports Show Period” got him to read some “Chuck Norris Facts” on air. His fav: “They wanted to put Chuck Norris’ face on Mount Rushmore, but the granite wasn’t hard enough for his beard.”

For his 86th and final birthday, he contributed a Chuck Norris Fact himself: “I don’t age. I level up,” he said.

Intel’s Big Battlemage GPU is imminent — but not for gamers.

A VideoCardz leak has the Arc Pro B70, with 32 Xe2 graphics cores, 32GB of RAM and a 230W TDP, launching next week alongside a B65 with 20 Xe2 cores. It’s not clear if we’ll ever get the B770 gaming variant; Intel deleted a tweet about it in December.

Nvidia has lost the plot with gamers

    Nvidia wanted its cake immediately.

The PlayStation Portal’s new software update adds higher-bitrate 1080p streaming.

It’s out today, and Sony says it “enables players to enjoy games at a higher bitrate compared to the default 1080p Standard mode, providing a smooth and high-fidelity experience.” There are also UI changes.
Sony’s also rolling out an improved PSSR upscaler for some games on PS5 Pro today, too.

Here’s the moment Frozen’s Olaf joined the Nvidia GTC 2026 keynote.

Nvidia has uploaded the GTC 26 replay, and the embed above should be queued up to the Olaf part. (I met Olaf yesterday!) Right after that, you can help me witness what appears to be an entirely AI-generated music video that attempts to summarize the keynote. It is quite the thing.
