GoPro will launch multiple cameras this year, the company announced during its Q4 earning call. The new cameras will start at $199 and go all the way up to $599. It’s possible the $599 camera could be the new GoPro Max, which founder and CEO Nick Woodman confirmed the company was working on last year.

After announcing it late last year, GoPro launched the $99.99 Premium Plus subscription ahead of its Q4 earnings call today. For twice as much as the original GoPro Subscription (now called GoPro Premium) it offers additional benefits like 500GB of cloud storage for any camera and built-in Hypersmooth Pro stabilization.
GoPro also launched a macOS version of its mobile app, Quik, that’s free to subscribers on all tiers. It’ll be available for Windows as well later this year.
As we’d heard it would, Plex (the media server platform known for being more convenient than legal until relatively recently) has launched a legitimate, licensed movie rental marketplace.
U.S. subscribers can now rent new films like Barbie, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and Wonka directly through Plex for 48 hours. The digital store also features older hits like The Matrix and The Lord of the Rings franchise, with prices starting at $3.99.




Android Police spotted a new banner on the Google Assistant Driving Mode home screen stating the view will be gone in February (like so many other Google projects). It’s unclear if other parts, like music controls, will remain.
The built-in Google Maps feature offers drivers quick access to Assistant and audio apps. Its shutdown comes after Google also killed both the standalone “Assistant Driving Mode Dashboard” and the “Android Auto for Phone Screens” app.
