    Anthropic’s new Sonnet 4.6 model is better at using computers.

    Anthropic launched the latest version of Claude Sonnet on Tuesday, which it says “approaches Opus-level intelligence,” featuring improvements in coding and computer use with tasks like navigating spreadsheets or filling out web forms. Sonnet 4.6 is now replacing Sonnet 4.5 as the default model for free and pro Claude users.

    Snapchat story subscriptions.

    Starting on February 23rd, Snapchat’s 946 million daily active users will be able to subscribe to specific creators in exchange for ad-free viewing of that creator’s stories, priority replies, and access to exclusive content, similar to subscriptions on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. It’s launching first with a limited group of creators, including Skai Jackson and Jeremiah Brown, as reported by TechCrunch.

    The official Nvidia GeForce Now app has arrived on Amazon Fire TV.

    Starting on Thursday, GeForce Now users can stream games directly on Amazon Fire TV devices, including a few new arrivals coming this week like Reanimal and Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Fire TVs join a growing list of platforms with support for Nvidia GeForce Now, which even includes Linux.

    The New York Times uses a custom AI tool to monitor “manosphere” podcasts.

    For the past year, the Times has been using LLMs to create what’s internally known as the “Manosphere Report,” according to Nieman Lab. The AI-generated reports include episode transcripts and summaries for around 80 primarily right-wing podcasts, including the Ben Shapiro Show, Red Scare, and The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show.

    Apple quietly acquired the graph database company Kuzu late last year.

    The acquisition seems to have occurred in October 2025, as AppleInsider reports. Apple’s motivation for purchasing Kuzu remains a mystery, but graph databases like Kuzu’s could be used in Apple’s FileMaker Pro, Freeform, or iWork apps, or used for social features in other apps like Apple Music or Apple Games.
