iFixit is doing its thing on the cute yet badass tiny gaming PC, calling it “the most future-proof and open entry we’ve seen in the space” despite using soldered RAM. The repair experts expect to assign a “very high” repairability score when they eventually receive a shipping version of the modular desktop.

Cyprus-based Aloha Browser says downloads of its browser grew by as much as 15x in some European markets in the year since DMA-mandated browser choice screens were introduced on iOS and Android devices.
The new row comes courtesy of Apple’s latest iOS 18.4 beta, but it only seems to show up on cars with larger displays. A welcome change while we wait for CarPlay 2 to arrive... someday.

The company was founded on today’s date, back in 2005, by three former PayPal employees: Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim. On April 23rd Karim uploaded “Me at the Zoo” which is considered to be the first YouTube video. It’s just 19 seconds long.
