    Garmin status: unproductive.

Garmin platforms suffered a multi-hour outage this morning. During that time, workouts captured by Garmin watches couldn’t be synced to fitness services like Strava, maps couldn’t be downloaded to Garmin bike computers, spouses couldn’t be alerted to new live actives, etc etc.

    Update: It’s back.

Nvidia’s Jensen Huang is still waiting for his Mar-a-Lago invite.

“I would be delighted to go see him and congratulate him and do everything we can to help this administration succeed,” Huang told Bloomberg.

Maybe the president-elect is waiting for his seven-figure donation, per Tim Cook, Sam Altman, Zuck, and Bezos — a bargain compared to the $259 million contributed by Musk.

That wild weasel camera costs $209.99.

The company behind Reolink is launching the Camovue Talon Pro Trail Cam sometime before the end of March. It can identify 12 animal species — including wild boar, deer (bucks and does), mountain lions, elk, ducks, weasels, cattle, goats, turkeys, raccoons, and foxes — and send alerts over 4G. It’ll last for two months on 10 AA batteries or much longer when paired with a rechargeable battery pack and solar panel.

The Camovue can also alert you to people and vehicles and offers remote management.

This insanely high-tech RV trailer is almost ready.

Here’s our first look at the “production-intent” Pebble Flow all-electric trailer. It can be moved into position by remote control thanks to a dual-motor system that can eliminate range-sapping drag when pulled by EVs. It features a massive 45kWh house battery and 1.1kW of rooftop solar to keep everything running for days. It starts at $109,500 with first deliveries available in the spring.

Ferrari’s first EV spotted making fake Ferrari sounds.

Here’s a sneak peak at the all electric Ferrari wearing full camouflage and making a simulated Ferrari rumble ahead of its launch later this year. As noted by Electrek, the prototype shows some exposed wiring and brackets up front and fake tailpipes glued to the back.

Garmin’s bicycle radar comes to motorbikes.

If I still rode a motorcycle I’d be tempted by the Zumo R1 to increase my awareness about all the nearby cagers trying to kill me. Just not sure it’s worth $600, given the false positives I’ve seen produced by radar units I’ve tried on bicycles, in much less traffic.
