It’s hard to get people to switch away from Google, but Microsoft has been trying over the past year and hit a milestone of 140 million daily users recently. That’s up from the 100 million that Microsoft announced last year, so it’s clear that its ambitious plans for its AI-powered search engine have got millions more people using Bing.
Yes, this is a real AI-generated image that Microsoft has used in one of its corporate blog posts about Copilot (spotted by Albacore). I assume it’s supposed to say Copilot, but many AI models regularly fail at producing text correctly in images. Microsoft had a similar AI image fail earlier this year.
Microsoft has started reminding Xbox owners that it will start deleting game captures from its Xbox Network after 90 days, starting on May 30th. If you don’t want to lose game clips and screenshots, then you’ll need to back up any old ones to OneDrive or an external drive over the next month.
