Nvidia has issued a hotfix GPU driver to address micro-stuttering with V-SYNC and stutter when scrolling in web browsers for some systems. The patch also fixes some stutter in Red Dead Redemption and stability issues with Immortals of Aveum. If you’re not experiencing issues then it’s probably best waiting for Nvidia’s next WHQL driver, but if you’re eager for the fixes you can download the latest driver from Nvidia’s website.

Microsoft’s Super Bowl ad focuses on the idea of using AI to be creative. It walks a fine line between empowering people to create images they’d previously need to be skilled in and concerns over AI replacing jobs — particularly in the creative industry. Microsoft is using this minute-long commercial to highlight the company’s new Copilot mobile apps for iOS and Android. After rumors of Xbox console exclusive Hi-Fi Rush coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch, data miners might have just found a smoking gun. T-shirt files included in the game’s latest update include a “I’m here baby!” in PlayStation blue, a “Rock out! Anywhere” in Nintendo Switch red, and “Shadow dropped” in Xbox green. The rock out anywhere slogan must reference the Switch’s portability, the “I’m here baby!” the sheer surprise of an Xbox game on PS5, and the shadow drop for the original surprise Xbox launch. There’s no smoke without fire.

Elgato updated its 4K Capture Utility earlier today to support its new 4K X and 4K Pro HDMI 2.1 capture cards. But the update also mentions support for an unannounced Cam Link 4K MK.2 device. It’s been five years since Elgato launched the original Cam Link 4K, so it’s probably overdue a refresh. Elgato also has previous form for accidentally leaking new hardware in its software update notes.
