The FTC will reportedly file for an injunction against Microsoft’s Activision deal.
CNBC is reporting that Federal Trade Commission is set to file for an injunction today that would temporarily prevent Microsoft from closing its proposed Activision Blizzard acquisition ahead of the July 18th deadline. If granted, this would allow the government’s bigger case, to block the merger, to play out before Microsoft is able to finalize its $68.7 billion deal.
