    The Windows 11 taskbar is getting a little more rounded.

    Microsoft’s last Windows 11 test build for 2022 is all about rounded corners. Windows Insiders in the Dev channel can now test an updated search box UI on the taskbar that includes rounded corners. It might sound minor, but after Microsoft teased a rounded floating taskbar it feels like we’re edging ever closer to a rounded taskbar future.

    Mario Kart 7 gets its first update in 10 years.

    Nintendo’s 3DS Mario Kart 7 has received its first update in a decade. Like many release notes these days, version 1.2 simply lists “several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.” Please let us know what Nintendo has waited 10 years to improve in the comments below, that’s if you even notice something new in your Mario Kart 7 racing experience.

    Microsoft has offered Call of Duty on PlayStation Plus.

    There are fears Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard deal could lead to games being locked to Xbox Game Pass subscriptions, but Bloomberg reports that Microsoft has offered Sony the ability to put Call of Duty (CoD) on PlayStation Plus. It’s part of a broader 10-year CoD deal offered by Microsoft, which Sony has not yet agreed to. Nintendo has agreed a similar deal with Microsoft.

    Microsoft to buy 4 percent stake in the London Stock Exchange.

    Microsoft has agreed to buy a 4 percent stake London Stock Exchange, as part of cloud services deal for the exchange. The stake is valued at around $2 billion, and will form part of a 10-year agreement to help with cloud services and data analytics. The exchange will use Azure, Microsoft Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services.
