Some RTX 4090 power cables have been melting and Nvidia has been investigating the root cause. While the investigation continues, engineers have revealed there are two manufacturers of the RTX 4090 power adapter and only one is experiencing issues. We’re still waiting on Nvidia to finalize its investigation, but manufacturing variances might explain why only some are seeing the problem.

Microsoft just released its 40th Anniversary Update for Microsoft Flight Simulator and it has an Easter egg that lets you play four old versions of Flight Simulator right within a plane’s cockpit. Reddit users discovered the Easter egg and it means Microsoft heard you liked flight sims so they put a flight sim in your flight sim so you can flight sim while you flight sim.
Elgato makes the Stream Deck, capture cards, webcams, and basically everything you need to stream on Twitch or host pro Zoom or Teams calls. Now it’s teasing something new, and judging by the reactions in this video it’s gonna be a big announcement. After the Wave DX and Facecam Pro, Elgato says “we saved the best for last. See you soon 😉.”

Helicopters and gliders arrive in Microsoft Flight Simulator’s 40th Anniversary Update. Developers at Asobo and Microsoft have spent a lot of time getting the details right.
Developers Will Seagar and Walter Lim have created a Chrome extension that will let you know who has paid $8 for Twitter Blue verification. You’ll see an “actually verified” label on original verified accounts, and a “paid for verification” with a blue dollar sign for Twitter Blue accounts. The extension is called eight-dollars (of course!) and you’ll have to manually load it into Chrome.

Microsoft loves changing the Xbox dashboard and it’s now testing a bigger Xbox Home UI update. It’s currently in testing, but the early versions felt a little bit like an Xbox Game Pass ad. We’re now starting to see more tweaks to improve the amount of space for wallpapers, smoother animations, and more. The final version will arrive in 2023.
