Nvidia is returning to Gamescom this week and it’s holding a “community update” stream today that promises new GeForce features, some “major GeForce Now news,” and the chance to see some “highly anticipated PC games.” No new hardware will be announced, though. Nvidia’s stream kicks off at at 12PM PT / 3PM ET on YouTube and Twitch.

Samsung’s 500Hz OLED monitor now available in the US.
Announced at CES earlier this year, Samsung’s 27-inch Odyssey OLED G6 gaming monitor is now available in the US for $999.99. It has a 1440p resolution, two HDMI 2.1 ports, a single DisplayPort 1.4 port, and that all-important 500Hz refresh rate. Samsung is also launching the 37- and 40-inch Odyssey G7 4K monitors in the US.

Microsoft still can’t decide whether to use Xbox PC or Xbox on PC. Last month I highlighted how the company has been using both brands in recent weeks, before seemingly settling on Xbox on PC. Now, Xbox game studio Ninja Theory has just used both brands in a single post on X 🙃
