    Smooth.

Perhaps you wanted to see more on the DJI Avata 2 after reading Sean Hollister’s story.

Lucky you! Verge video producer Vjeran Pavic recorded some of his thoughts on the Avata 2 for our YouTube channel — and he showed off more of the drone’s impressive in-flight stability.

A court halted Texas AG’s Media Matters investigation.

US District Court Judge Amit Mehta granted a preliminary injunction (PDF) against Texas AG Ken Paxton’s investigation of left-leaning nonprofit Media Matters, writing that there was “evidence of retaliatory intent” in Paxton’s actions.

Media Matters had sued Paxton for his investigation, which launched the same day Elon Musk’s X sued the nonprofit over its report that X displayed ads on pro-Nazi content.

McDonald’s is asking Dutch people to smell its walls.

The company started a new marketing campaign last week in The Netherlands that involves using a billboard to “diffuse the McDonald’s scent,” which is a phrase that, quite frankly, I don’t want any closer to me than its stinky walls.

Someone is working on an AI fleshlight with RGB lights.

Orifice.ai is where someone is tracking their progress in creating an apparently LLM-connected sex toy, complete with “generative moaning” and computer vision. (Spotted on Hacker News.)

    NSFW, by the way.

“I am the voice of the Knight Industries 2000 microprocessor...”

The Knight Rider Historians channel used ChatGPT, Amazon Polly, and a Raspberry Pi to make the world’s most annoying version of KITT, the AI that helps David Hasslehoff from its home inside the fictional Pontiac Firebird Trans Am from the Knight Rider series.

What do we think? 3 out of 10? 4?

    Decoding Taylor Swift.

Yesterday, a hidden message started showing up in the lyrics of songs in five curated Apple Music playlists of Swift’s music, giving Swifties a code to decipher ahead of her upcoming album, “The Department of Tortured Poets.”

According to USA Today, Apple will add random capital letters to a song per day, spelling out a word and, by April 18th, a “secret” message.
