Indian political opponents say Apple tipped them off to state-sponsored cyber attacks.

BBC News reported that India’s opposition leaders received Apple threat notifications saying they’re “being targeted by state-sponsored attacks.” Apple says such notifications will provide steps for enabling its “extreme” Lockdown Mode.

Though it doesn’t identify the attackers, the leaders reportedly believe the source is the Indian government itself. BBC News says the government denies it.

G7 economies will agree to an AI code of conduct for businesses on Monday.

As the White House preps to announce a new executive order aimed at AI companies, Reuters reported that the G7 will agree on an international rulebook for AI responsibility.

Reuters says the 11-point voluntary agreement, which has no regulatory weight, is meant to encourage responsible AI development, including encouraging companies to report on progress and mitigate current and future risks.

Striking auto workers have a tentative deal with Stellantis.

The United Auto Workers union president and vice president announced the deal in a video that’s also transcribed on the UAW site.

The two said that, as part of the agreement, a Belvidere, Illinois plant will re-open, two others will stay open, and Stellantis will cancel planned layoffs.

CNBC wrote that the deal was modeled off of the one the UAW reached with Ford last week.
