The “seventh and final” entry in the long-running “of the Dead” series of sociopolitical commentary zombie films will start filming in Puerto Rico this year, reports Deadline.
The movie, Twilight of the Dead, will explore humanity’s “dark nature” as it shows the final Earth-bound humans “caught between factions of the undead.” Filmmaker George A. Romero wrote a partial script for the film before he died in 2017, and it has been completed.
