iOS 18.3 public beta 2 returns repeating calculation to iPhones.

iOS 18 had removed the ability to continually tap the Calculator app’s equals button to recalculate using your last solution, according to 9to5Mac, which says it’s back in the latest iOS 18.3 public beta update.

That’s good news for fans of the calculator app. Now, if only Apple would bring back the “C” button.

The EU has fined the EU for violating the GDPR.

The European Commission must pay a German citizen EU 400 (about $412 USD) for improperly safeguarding the person’s data sent to Meta in the US after they used a “Sign in with Facebook” button to log into an EU site, reports Reuters.

That’s a first, the outlet writes. GDPR fines often punish tech firms — Meta has had several, for instance.

Satechi’s got new Qi2 chargers on the way.

They include 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 OntheGo folding chargers that feature a 15-watt Qi2 magnetic charging pad and an Apple Watch pad with 5-watt output to AirPods. The 3-in-1 supports Apple Watch fast charging.

Satechi also announced a set of magnetic Qi2 power banks reminiscent of Anker MagGo chargers like this one. Satechi says it’s all coming in the second quarter, with prices ranging from $69.99 to $99.99.

    A more cultured, sophisticated Doomguy.

Here’s a version of Doom, downloadable for Windows or playable in a web browser, where you run around an art gallery, sipping and collecting wine, cash, and hors d’oeuvres. Is it still hell? I don’t know, but the music is nice.

Developer bobatealee says they made it with a friend as a student project. I spotted it when Retro Tech Dreams posted it.
