Polaroid unveiled its Google Cast TVs this week. The 4K TVs come in four sizes — 43”, 50”, 55”, and 65” — and start at $499. They also come with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDMI 2.0 inputs, and an “upgraded bezel design with a contemporary TV stand.” I always love a good contemporary TV stand. Of course, you can stream to them from a laptop, phone, or tablet through Google Cast. While there’s not much new to focus on with Polaroid’s TVs, their affordable starting price point might make them a tempting option for some buyers.

Since announcing its decision to stop manufacturing its famous instant film in 2008, Polaroid has turned to capitalizing on its recognizable name. It’ll slap Polaroid on just about anything, including a portable turntable, a tablet for kids, a Monopoly game, sunglasses, and T-shirts. The company previously released 4K TVs in 2014, and as far as I can tell, it has no plans to stop peddling its random gadgets and accessories.
