The PlayStation 4 hasn’t really taken Japan by storm yet, but you can’t really judge a PlayStation’s performance until a new Final Fantasy comes out for it. Final Fantasy XV just so happens to be coming later this year, and Sony just announced a special edition PlayStation 4 — the new slimmer version — to tie into the game’s release. This is the first limited edition variant of the new PS4 we’ve seen.

It’s called the “Luna Edition,” because nothing Final Fantasy can go without being called something like that. The system will be released for 39,980 yen (about $393) on November 29th, the same day as Final Fantasy XV. The package includes the game, a rental of the spinoff CG movie Kingsglaive, and an original PS4 system theme.
And, because the PS Vita mysteriously remains somewhat alive in Japan, Sony announced a couple of new colors for the handheld system too. Japan will get the Metallic Red and Silver variants on December 1st.
