Whistle just announced its new Whistle 3 pet tracking collar at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The collar lets you monitor your pet’s daily activity from any smartphone, or locate and track your pet from anywhere in the US using GPS and cellular should it get lost or stole. Whistle 3 improves upon the original with the promise of faster and more accurate location tracking, and improved geo-fencing to create multiple safe areas. The waterproof, on-collar hardware is now 50 percent smaller making it suitable for more smaller pets. There’s also a new, completely redesigned app that’s been “dramatically simplified” according to Whistle.

Whistle 3 lists for $79.95 but you’ll still need to pay for a service plan which will cost you between $6.95 and $9.95 each month. The original Whistle is still available for purchase for $49.95.
