Misfit says its Vapor smartwatch, which was introduced at CES this year, will finally be available on October 31st. Misfit typically releases fitness trackers, but this is the company’s first full-blown smartwatch. Misfit had initially planned to release the watch this summer but delayed the release date.
Misfit Vapor smartwatch gets October 31st release date, after months of delays

The Vapor watch runs Android Wear 2.0 and features a 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor, 4GB of memory, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, and water resistance up to 50 meters. Because it’s built with the current Android Wear OS, wearers can consult Google Assistant and download various watch faces. It’ll cost $199.99.
At this point, it’s unclear who would still be interested in this watch. Lots of fashion companies are partnering with Google to launch devices that bank on designers’ names and sensibilities. And Misfit doesn’t command that same design respect, and die-hard gadget fans likely already bought LG’s Watch Sport. Maybe it’ll find some love with Pebble Time Round owners who were disappointed Fitbit created a square smartwatch.
