Sphero’s bringing a new Star Wars droid to New York this week for Comic Con. R2-Q5, as it’s called, looks like the angsty teen version of R2-D2. In reality, it’s an Empire droid that made its debut decades ago. R2-Q5 doesn’t get as much love as R2-D2, but that’s okay because it’s bad and can live a life without love. The new droid will cost $199.99 and will be available at Comic Con this week and then Best Buy. Sphero didn’t tell us how many it has available, but it’s a “while supplies last” situation.
Sphero’s R2-Q5 looks like the bad boy version of R2-D2

Sphero
R2-Q5 works just like Sphero’s R2-D2. Users can drive it around, have it perform different actions, and watch the Star Wars movies with it. Sphero programmed it to react to different parts of the movies and to interact with the company’s other droids, including BB-8 and BB-9E. Good luck getting one.
