There are few things I love more than mechanical watches and whiskey. In a very expensive twist, a Swiss watch and the world’s oldest whisky will combine to create the Whisky Watch, a $45,000 piece of liquid-infused luxury that Vox Media will not let me expense.

Swiss watchmaker Louis Moinet has partnered with Wealth Solutions, a Polish company that specialized in luxury collectibles to add a drop of Old Vatted Glenlivet 1862 — the oldest whisky in the world — into a glass chamber in 50 watches. The gold version of the Whisky Watch will sell for $45,000, which is a midrange price for Louis Moinet watches, while a steel version will cost around $17,000 (that’s still hella expensive).

Of course, given that Old Vatted Glenlivet 1862 can be bought for around $7,000 (if you can find it), you could just let a brand-new Rolex Daytona soak in a decanter full of the whisky and save $20,000. And you get to drink some. The Whisky Watch will be available on April 8th, if you’re so inclined.
