8bitdo is known for making some of the best wireless retro game controllers around, and now, the company wants you to start making your own. Today, it’s launching a new line of DIY mod kits so you can turn existing classic controllers into wireless ones. Each kit costs $19.99, and there are three kits available: one for the Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive), as well as kits for the NES and SNES. (The kits will also work with the wired controllers that come with the NES and SNES Classics.)

The kits all seem fairly simple, require no soldering, and include all of the necessary tools. Once you manage to set everything up, your old controller will support Bluetooth and work wirelessly with the Nintendo Switch, Windows, Mac, and Raspberry Pi. The kit also adds a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. If you’re interested, you can grab the kits now from the 8bitdo store.
