The Meta Quest 3S is a battery-powered standalone VR headset that has the same chipset as the pricier Quest 3, but with the same lenses and screen resolution as the Quest 2. The Quest 3S is a standalone virtual reality headset that has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor as the more expensive Meta Quest 3, but the lenses, field of view, and per-eye resolution (1823 x 1920 pixels per eye) of the Quest 2. The headset’s lower resolution is outweighed by the ability to play the latest compatible VR games at their top speed. The Quest 3S can also be connected to a gaming PC wirelessly using Meta’s AirLink app or the official Steam Link app.
