8BitDo’s latest Retro Receiver brings wireless controller support to the Nintendo 64.

The new $24.99 adapter plugs into the N64’s front ports and serves as a wireless bridge for modern Bluetooth controllers including Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch gamepads. The company also released a new $39.99 2.4GHz version of its 8BitDo 64 controller with a similar adapter for use with the N64 or Analogue 3D.

Vivo’s X300 Ultra arrives this month.

The flagship launches in China on March 30th, though we don’t know if the promised international launch will be at the same time. We’ve also gotten our first good look at the phone, which includes a snazzy two-tone body. It’ll launch alongside the more affordable X300S, and both phones will support Vivo’s telephoto converter lenses.

The best kind of cheap shot.

Breville’s Barista Express is on sale at Amazon and Best Buy for $549.95 ($150 off), its second-best price this year. It certainly isn’t the cheapest espresso machine available, but it’s chic, straightforward, and relatively easy to maintain, given that Breville provides most of the tools.

Just ask The Verge’s own Allison Johnson, who uses it as her daily driver.

Upgrading the MacBook Neo’s storage is satisfying ASMR, but don’t try this at home.

YouTube’s DirectorFeng has released yet another teardown of the new Apple MacBook Neo but in this video they go one step further and upgrade the laptop’s 256GB NAND chip to 1TB of storage, as spotted by 9to5Mac. The upgrade works, but it’s a complicated process requiring some serious skills and a steady hand.

Here for a good time, not a long time.

Samsung has discontinued its TriFold phone after just a few months on sale, amid speculation that it only ever manufactured a few thousand devices. So long, TriFold, we barely knew ye.

Samsung’s $350 1440p QD-OLED gaming monitor includes Resident Evil Requiem.

It’s not uncommon to get a free game when you buy a pricey PC component. However, Samsung’s 27-inch G50SF QD-OLED is an especially good deal at $349.99 from Amazon since it includes Resident Evil Requiem (a $69.99 value). The G50SF only has a 180Hz refresh rate, but otherwise it seems like a solid entry-level OLED monitor.

Beats and Nike team up for a pair of Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds.

When Victoria Song reviewed the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2, she found a lot to like about their slimmer ear hook and wireless charging, even before their iOS 26 upgrade. Now, Beats is launching this color-splashed collaboration, which is at least bright, even if it lacks the internal hardware updates of Apple’s new AirPods Max headphones.

They’ll go on sale on Nike.com, Apple.com, and other stores on Friday, March 20th, for $249.99.

Taking on your feedback.

Apple’s original AirPods Max are pretty extraordinary headphones with some very obvious flaws. More than five years on, we’re finally getting a sequel — which fixes absolutely none of them. Make it make sense, Apple.

Boox is refreshing its Go 10.3 tablet with a new front light.

Boox announced on Monday that it’s launching an updated version of its Android-powered monochrome ePaper tablet, the Boox Go 10.3 Gen II. The “Lumi” edition includes a dual-tone front light, which could make the new version of the Go 10.3 easier to use in low-light conditions.

Sony’s first clip-on earbuds are on sale for the first time.

Sony’s LinkBuds Clip are down to $198 ($32 off) at Amazon and Best Buy. Besides looking cool, they offer a secure fit and an open-style design that lets you remain in tune with your surroundings. They also sound good and perform well on calls, though, sadly, they lack wireless charging. But hey, no buds are perfect. Read our review.

Dell’s Precision laptops return with new Intel Panther Lake models.

Now that Dell has brought back XPS, it’s Precision’s turn. Dell is announcing new Pro Precision 5 and Pro Precision 7 laptops to replace the iPhone-sounding Dell Pro Max. They’ll come in 14- and 16-inch sizes with Intel Panther Lake CPUs and optional Nvidia Pro Blackwell GPUs. Most models are expected in May, though pricing is TBD.

The Dell Pro Precision 5 14 will start with an Intel Core Ultra 5 336H processor with integrated graphics, and offer an optional RTX Pro 500 Blackwell discreet GPU.
The 16-inch Dell Pro Precision 5 will start with similar specs but can be optioned with up to an RTX Pro 2000 GPU.
The Dell Pro Precision 7 models also offer Intel Panther Lake and Nvidia Pro discreet graphics, but there’s an option for a Core Ultra X7 chip with Arc B390 integrated graphics.
Stepping up to the Pro Precision 7 models also means getting Dell’s latticeless keyboards. Which I don’t find to be an upgrade, but that comes down to personal preference.

The cutting edge of 3D TV from the year 2000.

Rather than two cameras capturing a stereoscopic image, the NHK Science & Technology Research Laboratories in Tokyo tried using a single camera shooting through 2,500 microlenses. Obviously, the technology never really took off, but NHK was still working on Integral 3D as recently as 2012.
