Along with the launch of a new season tomorrow, Overwatch is also getting an update for Nintendo’s latest console. It doesn’t sound like a huge change, but Blizzard says that the Switch 2 version will feature “better visuals, higher fidelity audio, and up to 60 FPS in both docked and handheld mode.”

The game garnered attention for its juxtaposition of Japanese dating sim vibes with psychological horror. It even warns players that it’s not “for children” or the “easily disturbed.” The mobile port landed in December of 2025, and now Google has removed it for violating its Terms of Service and “depiction of sensitive themes.”

That’s according to a new report from Bloomberg, which delves into just how important the Disney deal is for Epic, especially given the current state of Fortnite. The extraction shooter is described as the first release to come out of the partnership, and it’s expected to launch in November.

Microsoft is working on UI improvements to the Xbox dashboard that will also include a new look and feel for Xbox achievements. Xbox Insiders can now test the new achievements, which have updated icons and animations when you unlock a classic or rare achievement. The notifications will also match your custom color. You’ll also be able to hide achievements from your Xbox profile later this month.
