I have a lot of fond memories playing Apples to Apples as a youngster, and now Mattel is betting those with similar memories will try this game when it goes digital. It’s coming first to the PlayStation Network on the PS3 and the XBox Arcade on the Xbox 360 this winter, with further plans to bring it to Facebook and mobile devices later (though we don’t yet know which mobile platforms are supported). While this game is a blast in a room full of people, it’s hard to say if it will work as well on a phone — though the popularity of social and mobile gaming means Mattel has a shot. It’ll be available on the Xbox 360 for 800 points, or on the PS3 for $9.99.
