After starting over a month ago, the rollout of Windows Phone 7.5 is nearly complete, with Microsoft announcing two more phones will be getting the update. The LG Optimus 7 on Telefonica in Spain and the Samsung Omnia 7 on Deutsche Telekom are the latest to get a taste of “Mango,” but while Microsoft’s Eric Hautala claims the company is now delivering the update “to 100 percent of eligible phones around the world,” there are some caveats. The Omnia 7 is being tested by Telefonica, while the same still holds true stateside for the Samsung Focus 1.4 on AT&T. The Dell Venue Pro hasn’t even made it that far, listed as “planning” on Microsoft’s update schedule. The company is also rolling out additional firmware updates to various Mango phones to improve performance or add nebulous “additional features,” but our eyes are already on mid-2012, when we expect to get our hands on Windows Phone 8, code-named “Apollo.”
