Beats Music launched this morning, hoping to pick up where MOG left off in trying to dethrone Spotify. The new streaming service was promised on multiple mobile platforms, and is currently live on iOS and Android. However, Windows Phone users wondered when they’d get their chance to try the new app out. Beats CEO Ian Rogers took to Twitter to clear things up a bit:
Beats Music will launch on Windows Phone on Friday
@samsabri Hey Sam, Windows Mobile not launching til Friday. Sorry!
— ian c rogers (@iancr) January 21, 2014 It’s currently unclear what brought about the delay, but Windows Phone lovers can now at least expect to download the app on the 24th.
