Inspired by an article on 9to5Mac, developer Lucas Menge programmed a home screen for the iPhone inspired by the Apple Watch’s visualization. Gone are the rows of apps, replaced by the honeycomb structure of the upcoming tiny operating system.

Menge does a topnotch job recreating the little details from the Apple Watch demonstrations. The app icons zoom in and out with a tap of the screen, and when clicked the icons open outwards to reveal the app itself — or in this version of the program, a screenshot of an app. The source code is available on GitHub, and commenters on the video’s YouTube page have already begun asking for the design to be released as a Jailbreak tweak.
