Meet Maria A. Aristidou, a commercial artist who is making incredible work using coffee in lieu of paint or watercolor. The results would be impressive in any medium — richly detailed interpretations of pop icons like Mario, Wall-E, and several characters from Star Wars. Aristidou has been posting her coffee paintings online throughout this year, picking up steam in recent weeks. Definitely worth a look.
