Black Friday 2011 deals: Apple, Sony, Amazon, Target, Xbox Live, and more

Braved the shopping madness this morning and still left wanting on the software front? We’ve got you covered with an assortment of digital download deals, no matter what your platform of choice. Warm up that Wi-Fi connection and read on!

We’ve already given you sixteen pages of Black Friday deals, but you’ve still come back for more. Good! We’ve been sifting the web all day, and we found a few extra diamonds in the rough.

We’ll be adding more deals to this list as we spot them!

Dell might be best known for its wide range of PC hardware, but it’s also a purveyor of other consumer electronics, and the company has its own little Black Friday sale with some juicy deals. Check out some of the most attractive Dell deals below.

Newegg has been running a “Black November” promotion all month, but with Black Friday the online retailer has added even more deals. Newegg is hitting some agressive price points with a large swath of computer components, but it looks like many of the best deals have sold out within minutes of going live in typical “door buster” Black Friday style. Still, you can wade through to find plenty of deals at www.newegg.com/BlackFriday, and check out some of the best below.

GAMING

The deals just keep coming, so you’re going to have to ask yourself, “Is saving hundreds of dollars worth fighting a tryptophan hangover on the early hours of Friday?” In the spirit of the season, Microsoft just announced its Black Friday deals at its 15 retail stores, and you can finally pick up a Kinect for under $100, save some money on an Xbox bundle, and make the jump to Windows Phone for free (with a two year service agreement). Microsoft’s got some decent deals across the board, so check out the full list on at the Store site and Facebook page (click “See More...”) for more details and opening times.

Black Friday promotions and sales keep rolling in, and now we’ve got Sony’s, which is launching early -- as in right now. Most of the early deals are in home theatre and television, two big categories for holiday shopping. We’ve sifted through the massive list on Sony’s blog to bring you some highlights.

The best thing about Microsoft’s Xbox Live Black Friday sales is that there’s no need to leave your house at an ungodly hour to fight the mindless rabble for deals. There’s a variety of content available, though the selection of games is not exactly the freshest. You can find all the deals right here, and some of our picks for the best content below. These sales should last all week, unless otherwise noted.

Batten down the hatches, lock your doors, and throw on some oil-resistant gloves, Staples is diving into Black Friday with the same enthusiasm we’ll be deep frying our turkey into a crispy, moist golden brown in the driveway. Yeah, you might be reconsidering whether to ever eat again after picking at lukewarm leftovers while you wait for Staples to open its doors at 6 AM, but nobody ever said Black Friday was going to be easy. Still no official word on online deals, but we’ll update the post as soon as we hear anything.

For other deals, keep an eye on Staples’s Black Friday site. Staples stores will open at 6:00 AM on Friday.

Toys R Us has announced a Black Friday slate of discounts and deals for kids of all ages, with most stores actually opening Thanksgiving night to get the ball rolling early. If you’re not able to rouse yourself from your post-feast slumber, fret not, as most deals will also be available online. Read on to see what you’ll find!

Most locations will be opening at 9pm on Thursday night, with the sale running through Saturday — but you might want to check the hours of your local store before heading out into the holiday rush. You can also peruse the complete Black Friday fliers to see if there’s any other deals that grab your attention.

Why should the agoraphobics be left out of the Black Friday fun? Of course, if you never leave the house you’ll be denied that all-so-American pre-holiday ritual of cracking ribs and snapping femurs at your area Walmart, but we suppose you could somewhat re-create the excitement by chasing your cats around the apartment. As for the holiday sales, Amazon promises that they will be constantly adding new ones: check here for the most up-to-date. In the meantime, there are a few promising things we’d like to highlight:

It’s not exactly official yet but 9to5Mac has what appears to be legitimately leaked collateral detailing Apple’s Black Friday plans for 2011. Each year Black Friday rolls around and Apple announces its sale without any prices. It then starts rolling out the deals globally, starting with New Zealand, before finally making its way to the place where this ritual of bombastic consumerism began: the US. Consider this your shortcut through all the noise.

As usual, the sale reflects cuts in the range of about five to ten percent on Apple gear, although deeper discounts are available on third-party items. Naturally, we’ll update this post with official information and details just as soon as they’re available.

Walmart’s so ready for Black Friday that it can’t even wait until Friday — many of the store’s deals actually begin at 10pm on Thursday night. If you’re the type to camp out for first dibs on the best deals, well, what are you waiting for?
