If you’re lucky enough to already be an owner of a new MacBook Pro with Retina display, you may have found yourself with a dysfunctional trackpad. Fortunately, Apple was aware of the issue and Trackpad Update 1.0 is now available for download. The update contains no other significant changes other than a solution to “an issue where the trackpad may not respond consistently to user input,” but Apple recommends that even unaffected owners apply the patch.
