After some delays the Archos Child Pad finally launched earlier this year, and just a few months later a new, slightly improved version is already available. The only change appears to be an upgrade from a resistive touch screen to a capacitive one — a switch that comes with a price jump to $139.99 from the original $129.99. Aside from that, the rest of the specs remain the same, so you can still expect a 7-inch tablet with Android 4.0, a 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and, of course, some exclusive Alvin & the Chipmunks content.
