Samsung has taken its time rolling out the Galaxy Note 10.1 — originally announced at last year’s Mobile World Congress in February, it didn’t launch until August, and its LTE-enabled version has so far only been sold outside the US. Now, that’s changing: Verizon says it will start offering the LTE Galaxy Note 10.1 on Thursday, March 7th. The LTE version will sell for $599.99; though size isn’t specified, that’s likely the 16GB model that costs $499 with Wi-Fi only. We first heard the tablet was coming to Verizon a couple of months ago. Since then, Samsung has added an 8-inch model to the Note lineup, and it’s launched a distantly related 10-inch tablet through Google’s Nexus line. The Note 10.1 will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a 1280 x 800 screen, and S Pen stylus.

Update: While Verizon will be the first major carrier to carry the LTE version, US Cellular also recently launched it as well: as of yesterday, it was available for $499.99. Thanks to Shyster712 below!
