The mobile version of Fortnite finally has support for proper gamepads. Epic introduced the feature as part of the battle royale game’s big update today, after saying that support was in the works last year.
Fortnite now supports Bluetooth controllers on iPhone and Android

Bluetooth controller support is available on both the iOS and Android versions of the game. On iOS, Epic says that all MFi controllers should work, while on Android, “most” Bluetooth gamepads are compatible, including devices from SteelSeries, Razer, Microsoft, and Gamevice. Additionally, the Android version of Fortnite also supports 60Hz on three devices: the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (US variant), Huawei Honor View 20, and Huawei Mate 20 X.
Today’s update also introduces plenty of changes to the game itself, including a new “chiller” grenade that looks like an adorable snowman, a large number of vaulted guns, and an experimental tournament type that’s focused on building. You can check out the complete patch notes right here.
