Gears 5 will launch for Xbox One and PC September 10th. The news was announced onstage today at the Xbox E3 press conference.

Microsoft announced the game during its E3 press conference last year. Gears 5 stars Kait Diaz, who first appeared in Gears of War 4. The game is being developed by Vancouver-based studio The Coalition. The game will feature a new mode called “Escape,” in which a squad of players must infiltrate and plant a bomb inside a hive before ... escaping.
Players who buy the game or play with the Xbox Game Pass membership by September 16th will also get access to the Terminator Dark Fate Character Pack.
