Sure, the M3gan trailer’s android companion is appropriate for the spooky season, but I prefer this less murder-y take.
Based on a Ray Bradbury story based on a Ray Bradbury Twilight Zone episode, The Electric Grandmother holds up well for a 40-year-old, 47-minute TV movie with a robot in a sarcophagus lowered by a helicopter.
Someone called it “a horror movie where they forgot to tack on the horrifying twist,” which feels fair. It’s not on Netflix, but you if have Google you can find it.
