Taco Bell envisions itself becoming a destination for electric vehicle charging, slinging Chalupas and Cheesy Gordita Crunches to EV owners while they recharge their batteries. A Taco Bell in South San Francisco is the first of “more than 100” other locations that will soon feature a DC fast charging station. And Taco Bell isn’t the only franchise looking to cash in on the EV charging boom: Starbucks is also on the bandwagon.
