Now Google Chat can really compete with Slack.
Google released several details about how its work messaging service’s custom emoji will work after announcing the feature earlier this month.
Users should get to start using custom emoji as early as November 8th — assuming their workspace admins don’t turn the feature off. Personal Gmail accounts won’t be able to try them at all.
