Avatar 2 is three hours and 10 minutes long.
That’s according to The Hollywood Reporter, and if true, would make the flick even longer than the first Avatar, which has a two-hour and 41-minute runtime. In July, director James Cameron said this about the upcoming film’s length (and I have to say, he has a point):
I don’t want anybody whining about length when they sit and binge-watch [television] for eight hours... I’ve watched my kids sit and do five one-hour episodes in a row. Here’s the big social paradigm shift that has to happen: it’s okay to get up and go pee.
