CBS News has temporarily stopped tweeting.
During a report about the mass resignations happening at Twitter (via Variety), CBS News reporter Jonathan Vigliotti revealed the outlet’s suspending posts on the platform following Elon Musk’s takeover:
In light of the uncertainty around Twitter, and out of an abundance of caution, CBS News is pausing its activity on the social media site as it continues to monitor the platform.
It looks like some local CBS-owned stations are affected as well, with one in San Francisco tweeting a similar statement.
