Vice Media will no longer use Slack. The company told employees that most of them would be just fine with Google Chat, according to Semafor’s Max Tani.
As companies look to cut costs, they may consider ditching standalone products for ones already included in services they pay for. I can see a lot of IT admins saying “well, we already pay for Gmail so why not use Google Chat” or “Teams is included in Microsoft 365...”
