CD Project Red apparently dropped Cyberpunk 2077’s once-promised multiplayer following the game’s messy release.
The studio had to determine the “priorities” for the game after its launch, CD Projekt Red’s Philipp Weber said in an interview with Eurogamer, and “the switch of priorities meant that other R&D projects had to go away.” Maybe multiplayer will show up in the next Cyberpunk game.
