Fast Company, quick shutdown.
Apple has responded to the obscene alert sent through Apple News from hackers who took over Fast Company’s website.
Over the last couple of days, the attackers were bragging about their access in forum posts, saying they’ve been editing articles that were already picked up by bots.
The lesson here seems to be: lock down your WordPress instances, and don’t use insecure shared passwords on administrator accounts.
