The Justice Department may file an antitrust lawsuit against the search giant as early as Tuesday over the company’s grip on online advertising, Bloomberg reports. Google had reportedly offered to shuffle its ads business to avoid a lawsuit, but it seems that wasn’t enough. The antitrust suit would mark the DOJ’s second against Google, following another from 2020.
