The new Shazam 2 trailer seems blissfully unaware of the DCEU’s troubles.
The future of Warner Bros. Discovery’s DC comic book movies has often felt chaotic during the last few months as the company brought James Gunn on to co-lead its efforts, and moved on from Henry Cavill’s Superman and The Rock’s Black Adam.
But you wouldn’t know it watching this trailer for Shazam: Fury of the Gods, which lays out most of the movie’s plot and features a handful of choice shots of Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu terrorizing a family of magical children.
