Meta’s VR social network is coming to 2D platforms “soon.”

Horizon Worlds’ launch on the web and mobile appears to be creeping closer, based on Meta’s vague language in Monday’s blog post introducing members-only worlds on the platform.

I’ve also updated our story with new information about the alpha test for the new worlds. Meta tells me that the alpha will start with “about a dozen” creators before expanding to “about 100” in the coming weeks. Read more here.
