Discord has shut down Gas, a company it acquired at the beginning of the year.

According to The Information, this is the second time an app sold by Gas founder Nikita Bier, who also founded the sold-to-Facebook app TBH, has been shut down by its acquirer in a matter of months. The Gas acquisition was announced in January.

Update October 18th, 5:16PM ET: I have been informed that I should have used the headline “Discord ran out of Gas.” Disappointed I didn’t think of that one.
