Wi-Fi 7 is so fast that my ISP’s gigabit plan can’t keep up.
Neither can anything else I own. My smart home gear almost all uses either Wi-Fi 4, Thread, Zigbee, or Z-wave. My computers don’t even have Wi-Fi 6E and my Synology NAS only has gigabit ethernet. Same goes for my Xbox Series S (which tops out at Wi-Fi 5, by the way).
None of this is likely to change for me anytime soon. Wi-Fi 7 sounds great — really great, in fact — but you do not need it.
