Hyundai is building a big EV plant in South Korea.
The automaker just broke ground on a new $1.53 billion EV plant in the town of Ulsan that’s projected to open in Q1 2026 and output 200,000 vehicles per year.
Hyundai also built its first unique car, the Pony, in the same town in 1975, which it revisited with this EV concept build in May.
